Cliché Anhydre

A quick experiment on modeling a bathroom interior with Blender + Cycles.

The Project actually started from the "animal head" (maybe some kind of stylized feline with scales) figure used in the towel holder on the back wall of the room, and creating that animal head (in turn) started from trying the materials from the Cycles Material Vault, which I recently purchased. Many of these materials are utilized in the result as well (including the tiles on the floor and walls).

The name of this artwork is a play with French, the frequently seen (in 3D modeling exercises) motifs included, the fairly terrible (but still somehow "cosily familiar") "mish-mash" of styles including pastel colors etc., and the fact that I intended to actually add simulated water in the sink, but hadn't done that yet at the time of publishing the image here :)

Realistically thinking, the sink is located very low and could be impractical in actual use by adults...
