Box of Light

Playing with lighting, camera and materials and experimenting with animation in general. All the models have been created by me, but on the materials and textures side I've been relying heavily on textures from Poliigon.com and base materials from the Cycles Material Vault.

I was originally creating an animation where the balls falling would really bounce off and around inside the box and did a few successful render runs already, but the first "final" render run had a glitch preventing the physics calculations from being performed successfully, and I kind of liked that version as well, so I decided to upload it anyway. Later on I added another modified version (v2) of the animation with somewhat changed lighting and physics working as intended.

I'll possibly be adding some more videos (maybe also pictures) later on.
