Sorrow

This project is kind of an emotional counterpart to an earlier project called "Happiness". Together they build a pair, especially as both actually make use of the same human character. A much darker theme than what I'm used to, but still a calm one as well. A combination of elements from earlier projects has been used together with new ones, and I've been experimenting somewhat with volumetric materials.

I'm not yet fully satisfied with the results, especially what comes to some aspects of the ground and its vegetation, and the camera settings (and the levels of detail / distortions attained, or how the moon looks compared to some earlier versions), but I'll publish the picture here nevertheless. The rendering of this version was completed on the 21st of April, 2017.

Cycles Material Vault was used for many of the materials, whereas The Grove was used for trees.
