The Mansion

This time the subject of the project is a mansion (and its surroundings) belonging to the fictional Himlavärd family (probably of noblemen origins). The same fictional family that produced the "Cherry X" concept car, by the way (their somewhat peculiar family symbol representing a spider is used in the car maker's logo as well) ;-)

The mansion itself has been modeled fairly quickly using simple selections and the work is not yet very complete, especially what comes to texturing on different surfaces and the use of materials in general. My intention is to increase the level of photorealism in the future, and the shape of the pillars section and balcony at the front of the house is not very satisfactory either, for instance. But as the overall impression still kind of works already, I decided to add the project to my portfolio already for the time being (mostly for the sake of variation).
