Punahilkka (Red Riding Hood)

This is a 3D modeling project (more or less loosely) based on the story of the Little Red Riding Hood. The idea started from an accidental likeness of the main character to Little Red Riding Hood, and developed further from there. All the models are original creations, based on simple meshes and in some cases, physics (no stock models, scanned parts etc.).

The project consists of several different scenes, pictures etc. with some recurring motifs. Some of the material is also listed separately, but still included also under this project because of some significance to the Little Red Riding Hood storyline.

Work in progress. More related material appearing from time to time. Maybe even a real story?

The next important area to improve on in the main character's appearance would probably be her iris textures, which are still looking too artificial in my opinion. I simply haven't put too much effort on them yet. On the other hand, the skin texture is not even meant to look very realistic.
